Sample Code

This SDK includes a number of sample applications. Each sample documents a feature of the SDK in both prose and the associated C code. The following samples are included:

• decode_to_md5 Frame by frame MD5 checksum.
• decode_with_drops Drops frames while decoding.
• simple_decoder Simplified decoder loop.
• lossless_encoder Simplified lossless encoder.
• set_maps Set active and ROI maps.
• simple_encoder Simplified encoder loop.
• twopass_encoder Two-pass encoder loop.
• scalable_encoder Scalable encoder loop.
• svc_encoder_rtc Layered encoder for RTC.
• aom_cx_set_ref Set encoder reference frame.
• lightfield_encoder Lightfield encoder example.
• lightfield_tile_list_decoder Lightfield tile list decoder example.

In addition, the SDK contains a number of utilities. Since these utilities are built upon the concepts described in the sample code listed above, they are not documented in pieces like the samples are. Their source is included here for reference. The following utilities are included:
